Dr Sonya Rosenbrock (Acupuncture) is now practising at our Bairnsdale clinic.

Sonya’s special areas of interest include women’s health, menopause support, fertility support, stress relief and pain relief.

About Sonya

Sonya has been practising for 12 years and has recently moved to Bairnsdale with her family. 

You know how some kids are destined to become fighter pilots, while others are destined to become the CEO, Sonya Rosenbrock was destined to become a healer/ acupuncturist.

Sonya has always had a passion for natural medicine and how plants can help to heal the body.

She grew up with a fascination for the healing properties of herbs and started making herbal teas, lotions and potions to help her family and friends from a very young age. All throughout her teenage years while other kids were out partying, Sonya was at home reading textbooks about herbs and aromatherapy and the healing properties of the human body.

Upon completing high school, Sonya delved further into her studies and knew that Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) was her forte’, she quickly enrolled at the Australian College of Natural Medicine to complete her Bachelor Degree in 2010.

Sonya chose to do a clinical internship at Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine, which included working in the University’s 3 affiliated Hospitals in Nanning, China. It was here that she gained invaluable experience working alongside very knowledgeable doctors in the country where Acupuncture originated, thus helping broaden her knowledge base and skills.

Never satisfied with mediocre, Sonya is obsessed with continual improvement, she has gone on to undertake numerous  post graduate studies in specific areas such as

• Fertile Life Method
• Dr Tan Style acupuncture which uses distal needling for pain.

Sonya attends educational seminars and courses throughout the year on Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and cosmetic acupuncture to ensure she has the best up to date knowledge to help her patients.

Sonya is a nationally registered Acupuncturist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA)
