Why Is This Method Different?
We find your specific muscles that aren’t working well – we do this by testing your muscles.
We use acupuncture with gentle tens stimulation to ‘reset’ those muscles – the gentle current feels like light tapping and it will often move the muscle a little. This can do a marvellous job of recalibrating the muscle so it starts to work better.
We often finish your muscle reset with ancient Chinese medicine techniques of guasha (pronounced gwa-sha) or cupping – to clear your muscles and inflammation and improve your blood flow to the area.
About Muscle Reset Acupuncture (TM)
Why Does it Work?
- Muscle Reset Acupuncture is very different to almost all other forms of manual treatments for pain. It has a great ability to reset the action of muscles so they work properly again.
- It’s so easy for you! There are no exercises for you to do. You simply relax why you receive your acupuncture.
- Pain is often caused by changes in muscles and how they function. Inflammatory chemicals are released, adhesions form in the muscle and the muscle cannot work as it should.
Here’s an analogy.
- Just imagine that every muscle you have is like a single cylinder engine – sometimes the spark plug cap comes off so it cannot work well. Muscle Reset Acupuncture can very quickly ‘put the spark plug cap back on’ to get a muscle working again immediately.
