As with any form of health treatment, there is a potential for some side effects to occur.

Generally, with medicinal herbs, if any unwanted side effects do occur, these are usually digestive in nature – for example stomach upset or altered bowel habits. If any unwanted side effects occur, your herbalist will change your herbal formula with the aim of eliminating any side effects.  This said, side effects from our herbal formulas is rare.

With acupuncture minor pain at the insertion site or minor bruising may occur at times in some patients.
